Know what you are paying - on your debit card, on your credit card - when you buy travelers' checks, when you change via a bank. For individuals generally the cost is less when using an ATM, or even when using a credit card (though this varies) than exchanging through a bank. And travelers' checks are almost always a bad choice unless your currency is getting stronger. I have no knowledge on this subject. We always use the Debit or credit card cuz you get the current rate. Are you going somewhere warm cuz if you are I am gonna stow away in yer bag....it's too cold here :P |
