Customer service or just loop arounds? |
Whenever I talk to a customer service rep for some business they either have no authority to correct problems or just talk to you without resolving anything. So what is the purpose of customer service when problems occur? just to give people jobs? Sorry if this question seems full of anger but why is it that banks when they correct your overdraft fees that only happend 2 times seem to threaten you in some way or form like dont come here again with this problem or Im going to take back or not give the credit you were offered. Sigh the exact banking problems isnt the question. the question was regarding customer service with any busness. the banking problem I had where I was threatneed over the phone and blackmailed by saying my credits they were going to give me would be taken back if I didnt stop talking about my issues provoked the question. adios :D You are right. Whenever I email customer service for my bank or my insurance company I get an automated response that doesnt answer my question at all. Its really annoying when "customer service" reps cant do anything for you. The first question I have for you is, "Where do you live?" I have found that in certain states (mostly Northeast, and West Coast) large banks are the only option. These large banks have the largest and worst Customer Service in the country. A lot of people with a title but without training or real power to change anything. Most of their responses are automated like robots. Sorry, it just sounds like a rant. I've been a customer service manager and a customer, so I've seen both sides of it. |
