How to send a USPS money order????HELP?

Payee is the person I'm sending the money to and the Purchaser is me. Do I fill out the money order in the post office? Or take it home? After I fill out the adresses of the payee and myself, what do i do? Do I give it back to the postal worker? Do you then put it in an envelope and adress it to the payee or does the Post Office send it for you? Thanks.

Treat it like a check. Fill it out and put it in an envelope. Then mail it like any other piece of mail.

You can fill it out wherever you want to. I usually have my envelope all stamped and ready, then fill the money order out at the post office so I can put it into the envelope and mail it right then and there. You DO NOT give it back to the postal worker. YOU send it yourself.
There are clearly marked lines labeled as to what information goes where. There's a little tear-off tab on top that will be your receipt.
