Payed by bank threw paypal.. unconfirmed address??????

Well im not in the best of moods ive been using paypal for 2 years and ebay for alittle or alittle more then 1 year. and i have never heard anything about these confirmed address thing until i went to buy a computer off ebay. http://cgi.ebay.ca/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?View... when buying it i had no knowledge of confirmed addresses so i didnt see that in the details of the selling it says paypal (Confirmed adresses only) until after i clicked buy it now and then 2 days later i was reading the details again and saw the confirmed address thing so i went to paypal to see if my address was confirmed and what a confirmed address is. my adress is unconfirmed and i read what a confirmed address is from my understanding a confirmed address is someone who has added a credit card to there account and its the same address as there shipping address and i also discovered if a seller is shipping to an unconfirmed address they dont g

get the same coverage as if they were to ship to a confirmed address so i was ok i guess i will just confirm my address using one of the two other additional ways but both the additional ways are for the United States only.. i dont have a credit card so i cant confirm it with a credit card..

so i started to read up on the web and some people say if ur paying by bank account threw paypal it doesnt matter that ur address says uncofirmed.. im confused about this. i e-mailed the seller and said im sorry if this is gonna cause any inconvience in my recieving the item and if they still be able to ship it to me gaurnteeing them that i am trust worthy and i will not file a item not recieved case. so i guess ill have to wait for a reply on that..

Could someone explain to me in total what a confirmed adress is and what payment methods threw paypal it applys to.. ive also read that most unconfirmed address are not scammers.

Pay pal sends a very small deposit to your bank acct or cc. You wait for it to clear then go back to pp website and give the amounts and the code next to the credits in your acct. It makes sure you are using your bank acct not someone others.
