Why won't my local sams club price match my local best buy store?

i purchased a 56" HD TV from my local sams club store on 12-08-07, but the store manager will not refund the almost $300 dollar diference in price that my local best buy is selling it for.The manager stated "that price matching is against coperate police".I just can't believe this is is true.Has any one had a price matching experince with SAMS CLUB?

Sam's Club is a membership club, not a regular retailer so they don't match prices. When I was a retail manager, we wouldn't match prices from Sam's Club or Costco because they were bulk warehouses and had a different pricing structure than we did.

I just looked at their website and didn't find anything about price matching at all.

The only thing you can really do is to return the item to Sam's and go buy it at Best Buy if you want the lower price.

Many stores will not match prices. If that's Sam's policy they are entitled to enforce it.

Sams and Walrusmart no longer do 'price matching' . it is buyer beware. put it in hard lesson learn section.
