Which one has a more credibility in India C.A or C.P.A (USA)? |
currently I am Armed with BBA (regular I.P university) and MBA(finance) from IMT and I am working with American heavy brand as an analyst well in order to enahance my credibility in the market I want to ask which will give more edge to me CPA , CA,CFA(please do advise from which Body i get my registration done) or if you can suggest any other option I would really appreciate and welcome that.I want to build my careear in finance only.I forgot to mention I am 24 year old so please consider my age before suggesting best suited option for me.Looking forward for hearing from you soon. It depends on where you prefer to work. If you're thinking of working for an American MNC in India or working in America, an American CPA would be better since you must show you're proficient in US GAAP and US tax. If you intend to work for an Indian company, a CA from an Indian University should suffice, although within the Commonwealth, a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales ranks at the top of accounting qualifications. lol if you have plan to settle india i suggest to study indian CA otherwise go for CPA. |
