Royal mail taking the p !?

i had brougth a item on and it had special delviry and its a 9am one i orderd it on wendsday and on the site it says something like come back later because it hasnt reched the place yet what should i do thanks x

Royal Mail's tracking system is hideous. You can only 'track' it...once its been delivered! Don't worry, it'll come in time, RM are bad at the best of times but reeeeeally bad at Xmas time!

Taking the P as in post yeah cos I dont receive mine.

First call customer services as sometimes & usually their online system is slow to have the signature available and it may have been delivered. If when you call it hasn't been delivered you can claim back the cost of special delivery and if the item doesn't turn up you can then claim compensation.
You should also be able to track your item thoughout it's whole journey from start to finish.

Spooky!!! I posted something recorded delivery on the 3/12 and my tracking says it hasn't reached the place yet so i rang up and she told me it must be lost and i should claim from them...拢34 max...unfortunately for me the letter was a claim form to get a cheque for 拢75 so i am loosing out! I'm mightily peed off! Royal mail should pay!
