Do you think ID Watchdog is legit?

Their involvement with the Vegas outfit First National Gold makes me think otherwise....afterall, all those $7500 credit offers are Global Gold, First National Gold....etc etc. They have a lot of different names.
ID Watchdog is in Denver but appears to be strongly affiliated with the scammers in Vegas....Either way, its bad PR and I think I will stay away.

ID Watchdog - Scam-Not Sure?

I signed up for First National Gold for what I thought was a $7500 credit card and the next thing I knew I had charges from ID Watchdog. Come to find out - when I signed up for the Credit Offer - I was automatically signed up for ID Watchdog. I wanted credit, Not ID Watchdog, Not a Shopping Card, and definitely not the other company buried in this offer - VCOMM.

I was more worried that my Social Security Number was being passed around company to company.

Everything is in small print and all I can say is "Buyer Beware" on this deal!!!

Searching the Internet, I have been unable to find any information suggesting that they are not legitimate.

On the other hand, I found a report (see Source, below) that its president, Justin Yurek, testified before the Subcommittee on Social Security of the Committee on Ways and Means of the U.S. Congress.
