Is Ebay USA like Ebay UK e.g. Photos which cleverly hide faults?

inaccurate descriptions and ambiguous answers from sellers when you ask questions?

How do you avoid getting stung.

I haven't had that experience on eBay USA.

If that were to happen, I'd address the inconsistency with the seller (to give them an opportunity to make the situation right), and I would at LEAST include the inaccuracy when I rate the seller after the sale. Depending on the seller's reaction to the issue, I would consider leaving bad feedback for that seller.

Feedback and seller ratings are key to success on eBay - - a seller won't get away with poor descriptions and misleading photos for long.
