What is a good free website to advertise a local business service besides craigslist ? |
I love craigstlist , i am wondering if there are any other good sources similar that have a city by city classifieds that people actually go to and get visability. It is for advertising local mortgage services, and of course free is always the best price . It sounds as though you might be a Mortgage Broker. I have been selling Real Estate for years and am about to launch a new website that started from free. Just an idea and pretty much what I will do. Get a free site (Hosting also is free) and put all your information on the site. Doesn't have to even be a bunch of info but pertinent. Maybe some pictures as well. Then when you have a somewhat professional website, advertise the website on Craigs or US Free Ads , etc. Having the website will have more credibility than just an ad. Visit www.websitebargainstore.com and click on the Information page. This website is just another income producing business, more or less as a hobby. My newest Real Estate site is being put together from one of these free sites. Just a little bit of advise! Good Luck!! Yahoo has a list serve that may help. Also could try Angie's list but they may charge a fee. One thing to consider is using Yahoo Write articles about your website or ideas. Advertise your business on other free classifieds like Gumtree, relevant forums and social networking websites. Monitor the response you get periodically to find out what works best.
