Where could i advertise?

Where could i advertise for wanting clients for Alternative Therapies like massage, reflexology,Aromatherapy etc? I have tried pubs, online forums and classifieds, corner stores, and so forth. Could you recommend anything or anywhere? Sometimes i am so shy to tell people but if i wasnt then i might get more clients, what can i do?

here its the flyer, some places the shopper anyway an ad cost me about $45 per week in the flyer. It worked for my sons pool cleaning service

Try searching for relevant leads

Call your local telephone directory...If you were looking to make an appointment with a massage therapist where would you look? Check pricing, the # of directories distributed, and where they distribute to. Go to yellowbook.com. There is information available there.

Practice saying what you do. Even if it is in a room in your house with no one around say what you do in order to make it easier each time. Without confidence and a simple way to express it people will pick up on the lack of confidence and assume there isn't much to what you do.

I received some of my best clients from demonstration at the local health food stores. It only costs how time and it is a win-win situation. The store has something interesting to present their shoppers and you get exposure with the possibility of future clients.

I am sensing another problem. I didn't think your description of services is very clear. What are you exactly? Massage therapist, reflexologist, aroma-therapist or all three, what is your focus?.

I have worked in Santa Fe, NM where people are very sophisticated at sorting through services. They look for the person's focus. They aren't particularly interested in a jack-of-all trades.

You can do yourself a favor by refocusing on your strengths and then practice your responses when people ask what you do.
