Do you know that beeswax and soywax can substitute paraffin wax?

beeswax and soywax are used in making candles to be more environment friendly.

Parrafinn wax, or mineral oil wax, is so hugely harmful. Natural alternatives for candles is excellent, but keep in mind that NO wax is safe for skin. Parrifinn is disgusting, however, and should be always avoided for such products!

Did YOU know that we have vast resources left that can provide us more paraffin wax, but that more land must be cleared to grow soy or raise bees to increase our supply of soywax or beeswax?

I would like to know why this question is in Advertising and marketing? I can't figure out why you didn't post it somewhere in health..

This is true. However, since there has been a bee problem lately, not as many companies are using beeswax without having to up their prices. As for soy, this is a better and healthier alternative to paraffin but it also lets the perfume in the candle pool closer to the top so that you end up losing scent about half way through the candle. Our company used to use a beeswax, soy and vegetable wax blend but has now started using just the vegetable wax blend. This allows the scent to thorougly blend from top to bottom. Paraffin, while the original base for candles are petroleum based and emits harmful soot that gets into walls and your lungs so they aren't as healthy. While they are a cheaper candle, cheaper isn't necessarily better in some cases. It is good for people to be aware of any product that is healthier in todays world.
