I've tried to be undertanding about the Gap commercial...? |
I know yahoo has to do what it can and must, to provide a free service for all of us. For that I am grateful. I try to use the pause button, but I always wind up clicking on to the site and sometimes by accident, I completely X myself off line (5 times now). It's just too much of a pain. How do you find out how long an ad will run? So I can come back then? Seriously...I am not trying to be sarcastic. Many people have been annoyed by this commercial. I am fortunate because I had downloaded a simple advertisement blocker that has blocked them all. It is not a pop up blocker, it blocks all the ads. I feel as thought Yahoo did this to themselves because of this tormenting video ad they have kept running. If they loose advertisers because 90% of their users have blocked all their ad's... then what can I do. I refused to be subjected to that noise any more. People have been complaining about it for a while and yet it continues. I was thinking of emailing GAP management, to politely tell them I'll not set foot in their stores again, due to this inane ad. Enough negative feedback should work. |

yahoo has no problems selling ad space ...Turn your volume down. Don't go to gap ever again. You know, years ago they use to run toilet paper commercials at supper time even though it grossed people out. Because they found out that... It is very rude and greedy ; I will boycott the gap(-in courtesy!) and they will never see either me or my money ! I am going over to other English spoken sites such as Yahoo Answers in the U.K. ,... LOL! Someone needs to like complain to someone that runs Answers or something because I hate that thing. And it takes forever for me to get it to stop and I'll end up going to the GAP web... MA, The first thing that you have to do to be a great sales person is to sell "yourself" first. If the prospect isn't sold on you as a person, they are not likely to purchase your... It's free - go download it :D ... I think the person who answered before had enough valid point that I will only throw in my two cents on the myspace question. Myspace was designed to be a social network, not a place to spam busin... ... |
