Should I trust this site?

There is no fee, but they ask your name and address.....

I almost feel foolish answering a question like this, because when someone asks "Should I trust this site?" the answer is almost always "no."

In this case, you've listed a "landing page" for another site called "Treasure Trooper," which contains no meaningful information about who operates the web site. Nowhere on the site is there any "legal name" of a company (such as a corporation, LLC, or individual "doing business as..."), nor any address or telephone number, nor any individual names. Based on reported traffic data, this site's owner is probably based in Panevezys, Lithuania (in Eastern Europe).

The majority of this site's traffic is reported as coming from outside the USA, which is extremely unusual for an English-language web site whose entire business appears to be founded on referrals of customers to US businesses.

There is no reason you should believe any claims made on this web site.

i don't think so.. you should always check if it has https://.. instead of http:// .. https:// assures that the site is secure and uses 128-bit encryption.

The name it self is suspicious...

I tend not to trust any site and am very resentful about entering any personal information of any kind.

If a site asks you for any personal information check out the site first and don't enter anything until you are 100% sure it is genuine and make sure the page starts https and there is the little padlock symbol at the bottom of the page.

Mark Welch's response is totally correct and thorough. Your first suspicion about why anyone would ask for your name and address would lead to the possibility of identity theft. Do not trust this site or any other site that asks personal questions.

Good luck!
