Why do car dealer commercials, monster truck shows, repo auctions/sales *SHOUT* in their commericals?

Why do the people who put on these ads feel the need to SHOUT?
I mean, some of them really scream and yell.

I mean, it gets my attention, sure, but makes me want to hit the 'Mute' button on my remote, not want to patronize their business/event, nor even find out more about it.

Screaming at me won't make me want to buy a new car.

I have been in the car business for almost 8-years now and have always wondered this myself.

It's a fact that the best way to get someone to listen to you is to whisper.

I hate that too! I feel the same way, it just makes me NOT want to give them my busniness.

It attracts ppl to look at the TV or turn the radio up if someone is screaming. Just like if you hear someone scream you cant ignore it ( unless you are just an @$$hole ) . You want to make sure somethings ok or listen..

It's way to get consumers excited about the product and prices because they are so excited about the product and prices.
