I am establishing a new advertising agency really soon. Do you have a ear-catching name in mind?

Yes, I am openning a new advertising agency focusing in advertising placement and marketing strategy in retail business and shopping malls. I am seeking a great name which is unique, ear-catching, meaningful and easy to remember with my clients.

Would really appreciate if you could share with me your idea for the name. Thanks!

PS. Would be good if you can also explain your reason for choosing the name and the tagline you can propose too.

2. Miracle
3. Mirror
4. Ad-Ventures
5. SuperAd!

Personally, I think you should go with your name and the name of your partners if you have any. Don't go with something gimmicky. It doesn't sound professional.

Think about the top agencies and the names they have - Young & Rubicam. McCann Erickson. They didn't go with something goofy.

Very, very few shops do well with the catchy name thing. Modernista! is one of those exceptions.

You're starting an advertising agency... and you can't come up with a name? Um...due respects, but doesn't that raise some red flags for you?

Suppose you get a real catchy name. Blows your client away. One day a client says, "Awesome name for an advertising agency. How did you come up with it?" Are you going to tell him, "That's what I get paid to do." Or are you going to tell him the truth. "Honestly, it wasn't my idea. I got it by asking on the Internet."

I did some contract work with a privately owned agency in California. The owner was an awesome guy. I think he had a BA... probably in business. But he taught advertising at UC Berkeley based on his reputation. One of the things he taught me was to never lie in business.
