How do you sell a slogan?

Say you have a slogan for a certain company? How do you sell them that slogan?

If you weren't commissioned to write their slogan, your chances are slim.
If the company isn't actively looking to change their slogan, they aren't likely to entertain you. If they were looking for a change, without a proper brief, how would you know what they are looking for? Unless you know their business better than they do, which is unlikely.
If you still think you have something to sell, you can contact the company's marketing department, but you'd better have a good sales pitch. Typically, a marketing manager would want more than just a slogan.

The slogan sell itself if it's good..xD

Unless you have a patent on your slogan your going to have a difficult time having the company purchase it from you. They will probably just steal it.
