How to start a magazine?

1. Create atleast one or two sponsorers who will use ur media (magazine) to promote their products/services. This will get u started with funds.
2. Write atleast 10 outstanding articles which will attract readers. Divide these in different interests such as fashion / bzns/kids/recipies/finance/stock market/etc.
3. Give a free copy on a weekend for ppl to know u exist.
4. Keep a promotion every week with a cheap item attached to ur magazine such as a wallet / earring / tie pin / keychain / etc...so ppl will know that ur magazine gives something more than just info.

Here are the essential ingredients to have a successful magazine start up: Have really good writers or good content, have a good photographer for pictures, find a magazine printer, most importantly you have to sell ad space.
