Ideas for stores or products ?????

-- I agree, I stay clear of Wal-Mart ...I just hope Americans as a Whole will wise up and fight this thing. I guess the word is out, and the public is aware.

Now every chance I get I bring it up and try to get others fired up too.

-Thanks for the replies..!

That's almost like an Aesop's fable. People get so excited about the low, low prices that they forget what the real price is.

They don't think about the near-slave labor that produces this stuff, and the horrible toxic factories like we had in the 1920s... and the people dying from the pollution and toxic exposure.

Or that American companies are being run out of the business and the craft of making this stuff is being lost.

Or this stuff is total junk, and the effort we put into dealing with it when it breaks.

So now, everyone's so accustomed to that low, low price that they can't even bring themselves to pay, what, 3-4 times as much for the real thing from a real maker.

Try the downtown where you used to shop before Wal-Mart opened, assuming there are any stores left. Try boutiquey stores in larger towns. If the business owner or knowledgeable sales staff are there, ask them. Try the Net too.

ah, i don't know, it's not making me to happy see EVERYTHING made in China recalled, but hey, maybe U.S. companies grow some brains and start bringin jobs back to the U.S. Toys could be a good start, then who knows, maybe tech support/telemarketers i can understand?

Yes, let's stop buying imported crap from godless dictatorships.
Smaller, independant toy stores carry american and european toys like lego, wooden blocks and trains, stuffed animals, and science kits.

for one, stop shopping at Wal-Mart...they are 80% of the problem.

It was walmart that squashed the bill that would have made it a law that all imported containers pass a thorough inspection.

now, a year later we have the very problem your talking about.
