Whats the best marketing strategy for a home based business on-line for many to see?

Try researching marketing strategy in the Business Opportunity Search Engine

Your results from the community powered Business Opportunity Search Engine are much more focused than a general search engine and they will continue to learn and adapt, anonymously and automatically, based on the search behavior of every search you request. http://www.businessopportunitysearchengi...

I operate 2 home based businesses, and by far, one of the best marketing strategies for my success has been a free one... writing and submitting articles to free article databases, and to ezine and newsletter publishers for them to use in their publications.

Those article databases get highly indexed by the search engines, and thousands of webmasters are searching them by the hour each day to find articles as content for their web sites, blogs, and other online publications.

One of the best forms of free advertising that gets your articles seen and business know is through ezines and newsletters. Quite a few of them have over a half million subscribers... that could be reading your articles and zipping over to your web site.

Also, yahoo answers, or a site like ask.com is a great way to get hundreds, if not thousands to your site... if you do so without spamming. For instance, while answering this question, I could have easily referred you and the other readers of this question to my home business web site as my source or for more information.

Just something to think about, and hope it helps you in some way. Feel free to contact me for more assistance or with questions if needed.

I have also been using free marketing. I post my site address in my profile. Sometimes I go to yahoo chat and I tend to get alot of hits there. Also put your site url on all of your email signatures. Join some of Yahoo groups that let you post your business opportunities for free. I am in 5 so far and one of them sends out daily newsletters of the businesses the members have. There are a ton of groups on yahoo for that. Also search the Stay at home mom sites. They are always looking for a work from home opp. Ezines are great but I can't right articles to save my life. So I just use the text ads that my company provides and there you go. Also try printing out flyers and posting in laundromats, grocery stores, community centers, churches, day cares and even colleges. There is a ton of exposure that way and its all free.
Good luck..

Try this http://www.BoxForYou.com a free classified website, you can sell anything for free!

Some people put a link in the ad, to help direct traffic to their own business website. I think that is the cheapest way to promote your business, especially to those newly start up small business owner. $zero cost.

Hope this will help. Good luck!

Make use of these advertising agencies. They have very good alexa rankings, and you can target your market. Prices are not over the top. Don't rely on free advertising alone, you will almost never see any positive results. I've included a few sources for you that i use myself.
Hope it helps.

The best marketing stragegy for you may not be the best stragegy for someone else.

It depends:

How much time you have available to market?

Marketing budget?

Are you a solo entrepreneur? Do you outsource?

What kind of marketing skills do you have?

-----------
If you like to write, like the poster said above, you can write articles and distribute to article directories; if you can afford it, you can hire someone to write for you.

Ezine ads are good and just require knowing how to write good ads.

Pay per click is one of the most popular forms of marketing on the net, because you can drive hundreds or even thousands to your site.

However, you can lose your shirt if you don't know what you're doing.

Good luck.
