Does anyone know what the Advertising pyramid is? |
I am writing a project and need to add a part on Advertising pyramid where I need to state advertising objectives. Can anyone help me with this term? Thanx Is that like a pyramid scheme? That is where 1 person gets 2 people to sell crap for them, those two people each get 2 people and all the profits go up the virtual pyramid. So the top person makes money from the others working. It is a get rich quick scheme that tricks people mostly, (Amway, Avon, Mary Kay, etc.) I think you mean pyramid sales. They are not legal so are never really referred to that way. You are signed up by someone who gets a small commission from everything you sell. Then you are told to sign up someone who will sell and you will get a commission from what that person sells. The guy who signed you will also get something when you or your guy sells something. The the whole things fall apart because everybody is waiting for the other guy to sell something so they get a free commission. It's a real bad deal to get involved in...by the way you might have to buy the product you are going to sell..then good luck...you will sell some to friend then run out of customers and you can eat the rest. |
