1. Know about running a business

2. Know how to market a business

3. Know how to do a business plan (it's not a requirement, but it helps to know where you're going with your business)

4. Be disciplined, consistent, and persistant.(a lot of distractions at home)

5. Be willing to invest the time to do some personal development on yourself.

6. Set aside time to work on your business

7. Understand that there's really no such thing as a "hot opportunity"; you're only as good as your marketing plan and skills...or rolodex.

Once you understand this point, it will save you from jumping from opportunity to opportunity looking for the elusive "pot o'gold." -you'll never find it because it 's in you.

Building your own enterprise is hard work. You must be passionate about it and MOTIVATED.
