How does MSNBC work in terms of local stories? |
How do sites like MSNBC work in regard to local stories? I am working on a spreadsheet of deadlines for submitting press release and advertisements. I noticed there was a local section on the MSNBC website. I called the local station that the website seemed to be affiliated with, and they said MSNBC was dealt with separately. Am I not able to advertise or submit press releases that would go into the local section of MSNBC? MSNBC has NBC afilliates, that is where they pick up their local stories from, and they pick up local stories from the AP (which they pay for) |
