Database Marketing help plz read?

ok im doing groupd project and i have question Summarize all customer profile data that the company will be required to capture, activate and maintain. List these data requirements field using a key (legend) to list any preset values. What does this mean? and how do i get started? thx for help

The customer profile data that is required depends on what type of "company" you are running. For instance:

if it is a music producing company, the customer profile data would include age groups, maybe geographic location of customers, and key interests.

if it is a cruise ship company, again, customer age, income information, and maybe family size, date of last cruise.

if it is a grocery company, then ethnic group, geographic location of customers.

The data you are obtaining is data that is useful information for selling your product.

I'm not sure about the key or "legend" to list preset values. Perhaps this is something like:

On age:
A = 21-29
B= 30-45....etc

Education:
A= high school education
B= some college
C= college graduate....etc
