Please help me decide my major?

I have to know what my major is now!! I'm pretty much done with my basics!! I wanted to do marketing but now since theres a film writer strike there is no market for it.... and I found out ppl that are working in the entertaiment industry don't major in business!! nothing to do with business!!! and i know this guy that got his bachelors in bus. administration and he works in a retail store!! lol wow...its all about connections!! not what u know...WHO u know....
atleast this way I don't have to go back to school incase things don't work out! and u dont even need abusiness degree unless if ur doing acct or financing...the market for business is so competitive not enough supply and alot of demand!! especially if u want to work in the entertainment industry! which i noticed what ppl intentions are when they want to do business

no im not gonna do something i hate but when there is no market especially for something like buss.(not fin. or acct)...and based on connections.....not what degree u have...that degree doesn't really help u get the job.....ppl who are ceo's ...directors dont major in business

Depends on your objective. Its true that Business Admins are too general and dont really know how to run a business like entrepreneurs. If you really want a good, stable job, pursue a degree in one of the hard sciences or study something technical. Remember, you need all three ingredients to be successful: luck, hard work and persistence.
