I have a business/professional question?

I just started a small home based business I am wondering the best way to go about advertising my business. I am selling prducts anywhere from candles to toys um electronics everything you can think of brand new at a reasonable price. How do I go about advertising my home business and my other question I was looking for some help with a catchy slogan for my business the business name is Crystal's Place of Treasures any suggestions as far as a slogan. Thanks a lot I appreciate your opinions.

In brief to discover which advertising and marketing strategy to use is first to understand who it is you are actually planning to sell to and or have a need for your product and services.

I could dig into this further, but simply put, know your potential customer and begin to discover what your product will do for them and why and how they buy and develop your marketing around those answers.

A couple words of warning when it come to SMB marketing is:

Don't fall into the trap believing that everyone is your customer
and
Don't advertise simply to get your name out there and think because of that you are going to have people rushing to you.

Great thing is, once you have a clearer picture who your customer is exactly, the ideas around your slogan will also become better focused.

It is not really so difficult for you. The most important for you is that you have to define the core compertencies in your business.

I think that your business is so innovative, so to me, this is your big core.

Sounds like a good online business, set up a web store & advertise on the web.

some might say try an ebay store, I have never done that so I cannot say good or bad, but it is open 24/7

There is a lot of reading that you can do. There are a number of free or inexpensive ways you can marketing a small business. I would start with a website and search engine optimization, classified ads, signs, business cards to friends, promotional offers etc...
