Are you a team player?

Not sure, probably have to run that one up the flagpole and see how it flies.

I'm that I in team!!! Its about me and there is an "I" in team!!!

Oh cripes no. "Team Player" is code for "we expect you to do whatever it takes to pick up the slack from your fellow 'teammates' without acknowledging your efforts or paying you one dang cent more than we have to." Which, no.

I think I am, for I know what to do, even if you are not a leader.

Yes I'm a team player, I contribute positively to a team environment, am happy working with and for others and mucking in for the greater good.

I don't buy in to what some of the other posters on here are saying about team player basically translating to "mug". Every team needs leaders and contributors and EVERY team will fall apart if each individual part has their own agenda, fact! I have been in good teams and bad teams and I can tell you that the teams which comprised of a group of people, pulling in the same direction achieved far more than those that didn't. Even though in the bad team the individual were far more skilled and had much greater ability, because they were working to different objectives they achieved less.

Yes. I give it my all and have been rewarded for my effort and hard work. Since when has a business ever been successful based solely on one person anyway? It's always been a joint effort.
