How much does Coca-Cola spend on advertising each year?

Expensive Coca-Cola television ads primarily build and maintain the Coca-Cola brand realtionship rather than informing or persuading customers to buy in the short run. Therefore the costs are a fraction of what their brand's image brings in annually.

A lot more than it spends on Coca Cola ingredients, but not as much as it spends on Coca Cola cans and bottles. That's why the push for returnable bottles -- a requirement that not nearly enough states have adopted.
When you finish the contents of almost any liquid drink, you then throw away the part that cost the most -- the container! Advertising costs are second.Third is the value of the actual ingredients.
And if you think that's bad, what about bottled water!!!

Coca-Cola has spent in the last year from febuary 07 to december 07. in the amount of 176 million give or take 30 or so. thsis is from the stock holders meeting. the last 4 years have racked up an amount of around 665 million in advertising. this is including all subsidiary and foreign markets.
