Does anyone know what are the Strengths, Weaknesses, Threats, or Opportunities for Raincoats..?

SWOT analysis

When doing a SWOT analysis, you usually compare a company with other companies. For instance, you would look at your primary raincoat company (take Columbia for example) and compare them with other raincoat makers. What are Columbia's strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities in comparison to the other companies?

What does Columbia do that sets them apart from their competition? What do the other companies do that give them an edge over Columbia? What threats face Columbia, i.e. is another company buying another? Are they losing market share from previous quarters to other companies? Lastly, what are Columbia's opportunities to improve their business. Can they improve their technology? Their price point? Perhaps their advertising?

or will you just buy and resell ?

You should do the SWOT analysis. Say you are going
to buy various types of raincoats then resell them.

You should also define your marketing strategy and
your target market.

As as the owner of this business, lists your strength,
weakness, opportunities and threats.
