How would I get the demographics of the SOAP audience??

I need to market towards a female audience from 25-54. I want to focus on TV ads during daytime soaps. How would I get the demographics of the soaps' audience to see which best fit my intented audience profile??

I would suggest contacting a local tv station and pretending that you are looking to advertise with them. Ask them if they have any demographic information they could give you regarding your goal. Most likely, they will give it to you because it's usually not too difficult to find if you really search, and it would be easiest to just get it from them.

For other demographic info, try www.census.gov. They keep track of all kinds of demographics...including for smaller cities.

Lastly, if you want to pay for it, Claritas, Inc. offers a decent price on demographics. They can give you info for a specific point and a mileage radius around it. They usually cost around $200 for a report.
