What do you think of sanitary adverts? how do you think they sell their product?

They don't sell the product...they sell the benefit. That's the way it is for any successful product. In the sanitary industry, you are not selling the "sanitary hand wipes." You are selling better health, cleaner hands, softer skin, etc. People need to know "why" they are going to buy your product...not "what" your product is.

A good example of this is Lysol spray. The commercial shows two children doing artwork together. One kid sneezes into his hand, then reaches for a crayon that the sister reaches for also. He spreads the germs. To a parent, they want to know that they can stop this spread...thus, Lysol has showed them the key feature. That's what you need to do for anything you sell.

The way they have been. I guess they need to convince the consumer they are nessery and that they will do the job they are meant to do.

They don't bother me as much as pharmaceutical/drug advertisements.

AMA (American Medical Association) reports less than 7% of the populaton suffers from true insomnia. Yet nearly 30% of patients are requesting drugs to help them sleep. Same can be said of anti-depressants or any other drug.

We HAVE to use sanitary products, but the pharm ads are making us "think" we are sick.
