How can i start my own business? i would start by not asking so many question but doing something and having an idea for a business... get a business license from your city and state, and make sure you have a good business to start, something you are good at and like Take out a loan or share the idea with someone. get off your **** and work damn hard by using your mind Get a business liscence, research, research. research... take an accounting course, and go to a book store for a book on starting your own business. They have workbooks that you write in and they take you through step-by-step The most important item is capital. You could be a business genius, but if you don't have the funds, you are SUNK before you even begin. ask those who started business on their own ! I own my own Cab company here in Iowa. All I knew was what kind of business I wanted to start up. I contacted a Business Attorney. It took off from there. I started my business with cash I saved. To this day, I never had to take out a loan. Just take into consideration of the overhead costs for whatever type of business you want to start. For the first year, You'll probably just be able to keep your head above water, but after that, its profit, profit, profit!
