Tips for doing a presentation??

i have to do one tomorrow please help

Preparation, preparation, preparation.
If you are using Power Point that will not be enough. Most people have sat through many Power Point Presentations.
Make sure everything is working that you have all the required material on hand. Arrive early and make sure everything the sound system is working,everything is convenient and organized. Try to divide the time into your presentation, and application of whatever you have presented in groups or individually, groups are usually the best.
I like to have a presentation with hand outs and a task. Often I will put out questions to the group hoping for answers and more importantly energy. I have even thrown out candy kisses for good answers. It certainly wakes them up and encourages participation.

Here's a few tips for you! Let's keep it simple. =)

1. Dress in something appropriate but comfortable for you. You don't want to be up there feeling like your shorts are cutting off your legs or something, and you don't want people focused on your attire.

2. Wear sensible shoes. You don't want to get up and trip or roll a heel.

3. If you use a Powerpoint, don't read off the slides. Treat them as notes - YOU are the presentation, not the dang slideshow. ;-)

4. Talk to people. Make eye contact. Look at people to the left, right and back to center, constantly looking across the audience.

5. Move around (if possible), don't stand behind a lecturn and jibber jabber for 30 minutes, it's boring (especially if you're shorter and they're sitting down at a table. Where'd she go?).

6. When you make a new point, change your direction. Take a step, turn 45* to your other side, move to the other side of the lecturn or section of audience.

7. Unless you're addressing Funeral Directors or something, be upbeat and excited. Don't drone. zzzzzzzzzzz

8. Tell'em what you're going to tell them; tell them; tell'em what you told them. (highlight, present, recap)

10. Just before your meeting: use the bathroom. Pop a couple of tingly breath mints. Check your face & hair, make-up. Wash your hands and clean your glasses. [You'll look good and feel good (and be able to see), and the familiar personal activity will relax your mind. Neat, huh?]

Okay, one more: practice, practice, practice. I didn't put it in your list because you don't have much time to prepare, but do try to run through your material a few times so you're comfortable with it.
