Is it better to live near Daytona or Tampa?

i am a teacher looking at returning to FL from up north. i found orlando to be quite large in the six months i lived there. i enjoyed living on the sw coast an hour and a half or so below tampa. daytona is nice and would shorten the drive back home. soooo..i was hoping living in orlando, kinda in between, you might have some advice! ;) thanks. i am just looking for the dynamics and comfort and job level of the two places. would likely be living on own, mid twenties. i appreciate your thoughts.

Tampa is soooooooooooooo much nicer, prettier, cleaner.

I moved to Orlando about a year ago, and have that claustrophobic feeling you get after making a large error. I believe my next stop will be Tampa.

Tampa is a great place to live but if you want to be close to orlando too then try living in Lakeland, it's midway between the 2 cities. Houses are dirt cheap now a days too. Good Luck.
