Where can you work when you are 13 years old?

u have to be at least 14
u can do lil stuf like...
walking dogs, babysitting, washing care, do chores
and stuff like dat....

last year wen i was 13 i got a "job" at a church leadership program and they paid me 225 for participating for a month. i taught you all kinds of things that you need to learn when you grow up. (how to give a good interview, how to be a good rolemodel, etc)

u can find work at a church, a family establishment, and that's about it. you either babysit, have yard sales, or do odd jobs around your neighborhood.

sorry i couldnt b that much of a help, but wen u turn 14 look for jobs with chick-fil-a, brusters, nd publix i kno 4 a fact they hire 14 yr olds.

Depending on where you live, what city, county and state, there are laws and regulations that differs about allowing minors to work. Nonetheless, I think in general minors can work in family owned businesses as long as they are not doing anything that would endanger their life, and also that would not be interpreted as a sign of abuse. Neither can they work at a liquor store. They can work alongside an adult (usually family members) delivering newspapers, as a sales clerk. Or at a fast food joint ...not as a cashier nor as a cook, but as server ... or helping out cleaning tables etc. as long as there is an adult member of the immediate family supervising to prevent "abuse". Well there are many ways a 13 years old can work ...just check around. I did work during my teens years and it was a great experience that help stay busy, earning money ...and learning to be a responsible individual.
I think that they won't allow minors to work it is because of possibility of "abuse" and also "taxes" ...yeah how to collect taxes ...and payroll etc.
