Why is ragshop closing?

The reason RagShop is going out of business is because it was a family business that sold out to an investment company that thought of it as nothing but an investment. They never bothered to try to fix certain problems that existed - the corporate management managed each store the same from afar, not accounting for differences in location, individual store management was inadequate to say the least, eventually the employee's just didn't care. AND....of course - WAL-MART..... 60% of items that were sold at RagShop were selling at 30% less at Wal-Mart.....which is dropping its fabric dept August 1, 2007.....Have fun finding your fabrics now......can we all say......eBay?
