Who actually makes prague watches?

I supose you mean "Starom臎stsk媒 orloj" in the centre of Prague on "Oldtown square". It was made (the mechanical part) in 1410 by two watchmakers - Mikulas from Kadan a Jan Sindel. In 1490 were the calendar and gothic fugures added. The calendar was later (in 1865) painted by a painter whose name is Josef Manes. The twelfe figures there are twelfe apostols.

Actually for long time it was not clear who made the watches. The original version was that it was Jan Ruze (called also master Hanus) and that he made it in 1490. This rumour originate from Mr. Jan Taborsk媒 who repaired the watches in 1552. The story also says that master Hanus was blinded not to build any other watches like this but it is really only a rumour. The facts are written in the first paragraph.
