Can a food donator also be a non-profit organization? |
Can a food donator also be a non-profit organization? Most definately. Donations of food for any "charitable, scientific, or educational purpose" would likely qualify you for 501(c)3 status, including donations made directly to individuals. A non-profit organization can make donations to other non-profit organizations in most cases. This would include cash and items such as food. |
