Why is it imoprtant to be resilient when you experience setbacks at work?

It shows you are flexible and can get through anything, because there are almost always setbacks. This is true in life in general. It shows you can roll with the punches and stay strong despite hardship. It's an honorable personality trait!

It's what you do after something bad happens that matters.

Never give up. Keep forging ahead. Do your best. Never look back, something may be chasing you.

it would show good character and hopefully get you noticed as someone who is easy to work with.
But from what I have found in my own personal experience don't count on it. Some times resilience will turn into being a pushover. If you feel you that you have been wronged speak to your boss behind closed doors, but keep your head held high and don't make waves with the other employees. Your boss will respect your professionalism but also notice that you can and will stand up for yourself.
