Should I go try to get a job at these places or are these both crap jobs?

summer internship in sales/marketing
Job Description new account prospecting, account maintenance, route rides with coca cola reps, merchandising
and then there's AT&T sales rep where u contact current prospects to upgrade to fiber

that you go ride with the coca cola guys and you go to stores and tryt o sell vitamin water and some other drinks
they told me coke is there disturbuter or there coke's distributer

but it sounds weird that they have to sell vitamin water and stuff

Okay have your ever been to a warehouse like Sam's Club or B.J.'s or Costco and seen the cases of Coca Cola products? With the Coca Cola job you're riding around with the driver then you bring those size cases into the stores depending on the size store between 30-40 cases for a good sized gas station on a pallet wait to be checked in by the store manager then put the cases on shelves. Around holidays like Memorial Day weekend, Fourth of July when sodas go on sale at grocery stores you have even more work. It's salary because your hours vary since stores have certain check in times and you have to wait for them to verify the amount of cases you bring in are what is on the invoice. It's alot of manual labor.

Do you have a degree? If you do I would not go for any of these jobs. Just my opinion. If not I know someone that works for AT&T and they are doing pretty well. Just my thoughts, Good Luck!

The first job with Coke sounds more interesting. At least you'll be on the road and have someone to talk to........the AT&T job is basically telephone sales.......if you like people hanging up on you all day long....take that one.

go with the vitamin water thing (coke). Make sure you "dress the part"--if it's hip vitamin water, be hip, cool, etc.

Never ever go with a 'commission only' job, you can be the best salesperson in the world but in this economy, people arent going to spend any more money than they have to....
