I want to apply for an position as an entry level inside sales rep but dont have sales experience.? |
After college I started a career in logistics in which i have held for two years. The sales position I want is for an company that distrubutes information technology products. My major was Information management systems. Any advice on how to sell myself for a position I have education about, but not experience. If it's entry level, they should be willing to train, I would talk up about the drive you have to learn the sales business and how eager you are to start in THAT field/career and talk about why you want to work for that particular company (be sure to research on it to explain why). Talk up the possibilities you hold for the company and skim on the lack of experience. If you have experience with non-profit organizations or other groups, you could mention your ability to communicate and convince others of your points. If you don't have experience with any organizations, you might want to get some references from people who know you well. Good luck! |
