Final Round of Job Interviews - WHAT TO EXPECT?? |
am currently preparing for the final round (3rd round, 2nd on site) of interviews for a position as marketing manager in a large (Fortune 1000) company; they are flying me (for the 2nd time) and my family (wife & son-1st for them so they can see the area) to the area. Since this is a viable opportunity and I really want this position I would like to know what you think will be asked in this round, what are they looking for in this round (last round was with 7 people, now with 3 including 1 new interviewer, the CMO) What can I do to further convince them I am the right candidate? How do I Further Prepare? I would think that you need to keep doing what you are doing. Given the fact that this is the second time they are flying you to the interview and this time including your family that they like you. I wouldn't really change what you are doing but just reinforce your strengths. The only other tip I would have an this may not make sense seeing that I do not know all the details of the company or position is that you may want to have some ideas of things you may want to do if you get the position. It would show that you are already thinking ahead and can come up with ideas. You need to be careful with this because you don't want to suggest something they don't like but it is something that you may want to consider. Good luck. Without understanding the entire situation, it would appear that they have already made their decision if they are going to the expense of flying everyone to the area. The questions and form of the interview will be dependent on who you are interviewing with. If you are meeting with HR, they are going to sound very different than the CMO. Were I you, I'd be pretty prepared to accept this position as they are spending a lot of time/money to be sure you, and your family, are interested in the job and area. see http://job-and-interview.blogspot.com/ good luck |
