I'm thinking of becoming an Avon Sales Rep any existing reps out there who can give me more info?

I've been all through the Avon website and it doesnt really, give you that much information on being a Sales Rep. It goes on about how great a job it is and how much you can earn off it, but I'd like to know more.

For instance, do you have to do parties (like Anne Summers) is there plenty of help available if you're struggling to get orders, do you have a minimum quota every month. It sounds like it could be a great job to be honest, but I already work full time and I'd like to know if anyone out there also works full time and is an Avon Rep too? Is it actually do-able? How much time does it take up and what is really involved with it?

Hundreds of questions there I know lol! Thank you in advance for your opinions and advice :-)

I can answer your questions :)

With Avon there is no inventory required and no minimum order requirements. You do NOT have to do parties unless you want to. That is why I joined. I tried several different sales companies (Pampered Chef and At Home America) both really require doing parties. Booking parties and getting guests to actually attend are extremely hard work in my opinion.

If you work full time and don't have a rep in your office you may be able to do VERY well and it will not take much time to deliver orders. You just bring them to work and collect the money. I have a rep in my downline that sells from $200-$500 per campaign just selling to people at her job. If that is possible then the time involved would be very little. You can work this biz as a hobby or a full time job. What you put into it will be what you get out of it but everyone's results vary.

My goal is to eventually be a full time Avon lady. I work a part time job and sell Avon part time. I invest alot of time into it because I want this to be my only job. If you want to sell to get a discount on your personal products and/or a little extra money less time would be needed.

I hope that's helpful. :)

I have lots of Avon information and FAQ's on my profile. Feel free to contact me with any specific questions as well.

i cant really answer your question
all i now is when my mum did it they make quite a few mistakes when it comes to the bill always on the phone trying sort it out

hey, i used to sell avon products. its a great wee earner if you can get people to buy the products for you. you can arrange parties if you wish. there are sample products you can purchase to show at these parties. would be fun.

I loved selling it, and if you sell enough you will make a great wee profit out of it. in fact i was thinking of starting to sell it again.

you have to pay for your books and stuff so i would think seriously about how you would get your prders, through work, your friends and family or your area? they can give you an area to work in. why not ask one of the avon people to come out and visit you to discuss it, thats what i did.

My sister does it, you have to buy your own books before you start and you only get a few pence for each thing you sell, you would need to get thousand and thousand of pounds of orders to make any decent money. Most people do it for some pocket money. It takes up a lot of time, delivering brochures, collecting them, paperwork for orders, orders being delivered, banking money.

Before you decide send an email to MyKeyToSucceed@yahoo.com and they will give you more information.

I am a new representative and I can maybe help you out. email me at uggboots11@sbcglobal.net

When you become an Avon Sales person you have to keep going back for orders, collect money, carry stock deliver goods.
I run a Business from home and most people use what we have to offer and I get paid every month from them using these services. Mobile phones.Internet,Gas, Electric. Who do you know that would save money and you make money. Just look at---http://www.bigbiz4u.co.uk See the information.
