When hiring, what are the skill sets you'd like to see in a marketing manager?

Examples: ability to speak and write well, ability to make decisions and the ability to apply marketing knowledge.

What are the skill sets you'd list?

1) a nice smile
2) Enthusiasm
3) Friendly demeanor
4) Ability to get along with coworkers
5) Ability to ask for the sale
6) Ability to close the sale
7) A good firm business handshake

Well, for one thing, I wouldn't hire anybody that uses overdone cliches like "skill set".
