I failed a personality test for a company I really want to work for and I have over 6years of experience.?

In this field i am very qualified but i was nervous because thetest was timed and the computer was slow. How do I recover cause the recruiter is going to call me tomorrow but at the end of the test it said I should try back in six months .Do I ask for a chance to do it again or do I just let it slide..I really wanted this job.

I try to be positive about these things but from experience i have had you can pretty much forget about this job. I applied with Met Life and they make you take a test. They say its the perfect inducator of who are qualifed candiadates. Well I did not pass the test and they refused to even consider me. I had experience for this position. Ironically they are still claiming that they are hiring and calm they can not find good help. Go figure. Their are better opportunities out their for you!

Letting it slide will ultimately result in you never having a chance for the job. You have nothing to lose at this point by going to the recruiter and explaining the situation that the computer was overly slow during the timed test. Stand up for what you want, it's the only way you'll get it.

When they call, just try to explain you were a bit nervous and ask for another chance, but if they say 'in 6 months' then I would just leave it.
You will come across something better much sooner, this one just was not meant to be.
Try to pinpoint exactly why you were nervous about it, and address this issue because it can stop you again in the future.
You know your stuff, do not let it happen again just because you get nervous under time pressure. It is all in mind setting.

Good luck and if they do not give you another chance, then stuff them and take your enthusiasm elsewhere.
