Any good sales jobs out there?

for some reason, i came back to a company i used to sell for...it is the hardest sale i ever had to make....i can close sales at 45 to 50 percent with other places i have worked, with this company i close at 20 percent... any ideas?

Whats the product/service? whom are you selling to?

Off the cuff I would say that your attitude is that you are back selling for a company you would rather not be selling for. And as such, you probably have no entheusiasm, and you are not having fun, and it probably shows. If that is the case, you will not sell.

I am compelled to ask you a question... Do you have passion for the product or service you are offering?

When a competent sale professonal finds himself on the high-side of the "no's," it is time to evaluate whether or not you are passionate about the product or service, in other words, do you absolutely believe in the product/service and that it provides great benefits to those who invest in it. Do you believe in the integrity of the company you are working for?

It sounds like you went back to this job, not because you enjoyed it, but because you made good money the first time around. Well, okay, so, why did you leave in the first place? There must have been something that soured you on the company, and it may be likely that you are (without realizing it) projecting that uncertainess, mistrust, diminished confidence (in the company) during your sales presentations.

You seem as though you are a quality sales person, but you are in the wrong situation. Remember though, no matter how good you are or how good the product or service is, sales is a numbers game, and even the best have some down times.

You can't always throw the winning TD pass, no matter how hard you, practice, work, or execute.
