How Much Will i Make Working At Win-Dixie? |
Per Week? Per Month n Per Year?... It would depend on what your job would be. If you are new to the job market (teenager), you'd probably only make minimum wage (according to whatever your state in). The current Federal minimum wage set is $5.85 and figure 28% tax rate according to the IRS. So based on this and a 40 hour work week, you would probably make: per week=$234(after tax=$168.48), per month=$936(after tax=$673.92), per year=$11,232(after tax=$8,087.04). It will take you roughly 4.5 months to make enough to buy that keyboard, that is if you live at home with no other expenses. multiply the hourly wage by the number of hours worked, subtract a conservative percent for taxes (say 20%) us 8$ hr x40=320x 4 =1280 x 12 =15360$ less 5376 tax and the rest is yours less gas, food. entertainment, car, ins, phone ETC. That was my first job!!! About 15 years ago I make 4.25 then 5 something an hour. Good luck!!! (LOL I am sure they pay more now.) I had so much fun, all my friends worked there. |
