I've been applying for jobs everywhere and calling them back, but i get no responses back, what should I do?

what is the deal with jobs!! they are really starting to piss me off! i apply and i call over and over again ya figure they would get annoied with me calling and just hire me!!! GRRRR

Trust me I know, not even a prayer helps. They expect you to conduct yourself as a professional when job hunting. The employers must have missed the memo, because most of them act unprofessional when it comes to dealing with potential employees. I would rather be told that they hire someone for the position then to be ignored or brushed off, like if my time and effort is unimportant.

As a recruiter, there are many candidates that I never call to acknowledge receipt of a resume or call back when they leave a message and it's not that I don't believe they deserve the courtesy of a call - it's that I truly don't have the time to call everyone that submits a resume or leaves me a voicemail unless they have exactly what I am looking for. Chances are, if they have not returned your call, it is either one of many things: 1) They feel you are not the fit they are looking for. 2) They have already selected a candidate and do not feel the need to contact those candidates that applied but did not interview or 3) They're playing a game with you - you keep calling to annoy them and they are purposely not calling you back because you are being so persistent and they know it's killing you...and the only reason they are doing that is because some employers do not see the greatness in tenacity! I hope one of them will come around and appreciate that you are not giving up without a fight!

It can sometimes be VERY difficult getting a new job.
I can only guess the reasons, but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with your resume.
Try picking up a couple of books on sample resumes and cover letters at the library. These books will be filled with sample resumes that will help to make a great resume and cover letter.
Another thing is to ask businesses, in a VERY nice way, why you didn't get the job. It may have something to do with your experience, or simply that they weren't impressed with your resume.
I hope this helps. Good luck.
