What is the salary range for someone starting out as a sales rep for Verizon? Is it base plus commission?

I am interviewing for a sales rep position with Verizon but was looking for some honest answers on what someone usually makes thier first year. If anyone has any idea on that and could tell me, I would greatly appreciate it.

I have friends that work for Verizon. It's one of the top companies you can work for( I think they where ranked 4th or 5th overall for best companies). Anyhow, one of my friends was the top salesmen in the whole company and made $130,000 last year. Another friends made around $50,000-$55,000 and he is now a manager making around $65,000 - $80,000.. I hope this helps and if you have the opportunity I would go for it, if it's something you think you will enjoy.
