Telecom sales?

Has anyone ever been in telecom sales. How did you do. Did you prospect over the phone or door to door?

I actually have a business in telecoms, working in partnership with the worlds largest direct marketing telecoms business.
We have a product which shows people how to save money by setting up a calling circle.
All my customers are either friends, family or people I have met, then I talked to all my customers friends family and people they knew etc etc etc.
Word of mouth advertising from satisfied customers is almost 100% successful, cold calling may get some customers but not loyal ones.
Also in my business I earn a % of all my and my teams customers bills every month and that at present can come from 19 different countries.
